What We Do
If you're aged between 6-26 and enjoy dance, drama, singing, playing steel pan or even participating in the Notting Hill carnival the biggest and best carnival in Europe, then Paddington Arts has something to offer you! At Paddington Arts all our classes are designed to cater for amateur, intermediate and advanced participants, all classes are also split into age brackets: 6-10 year olds, 11-15 year olds and 16-26 year olds.
For all you 6-10 year olds we run a large number of different sessions from dance, drama, steel pan and singing to half term holiday projects, a summer school during the six weeks summer holidays, have two brilliant shows a year for family and friends all put together and created by the young people, AND...the famous Milkshake Disco, the disco that has run every last Friday of the month for the last 14 years! Come down and hear all the latest beats, learn all the latest dances, make loads of new friends and eat all the pizzas, hot dogs, sweets and crisps that you possibly can! (How good does that sound?)
Aged 11-15? Why not come down and enjoy one of our many street dance sessions, no experience necessary. Our tutors will teach you all the latest moves you need to know! Not to mention hearing all the latest songs, and because here at Paddington Arts we,re confident that you'll be back for more we'll give you your first session free! And don't worry for those of you with two left feet (lol) who'd just like to chillax for an evening, come down to one of our steel pan sessions and learn to play everything from clam and soothing melodies to jump up and wave jives. And if none of those suit you do you fancy yourself as the next Frank Sinatra? Beyonce? Then try out one of our singing sessions and see if you can lift our roof! Or join in with one of our drama sessions and be the next Johnny Depp or Julia Roberts.
16-26? Now you are a difficult age group to please (lol), but here at Paddington Arts we've got the remedy and the ingredients to keep everybody who walks through our doors wanting to come back for more, so weather you'd like to dance, sing, act, play steel pan, or just visit us once a year to take part in the Notting Hill carnival then Paddington Arts is the place for you.
